Zoé is a junior at Harvard planning to attend medical school in the future. Although her grandparents are from four different countries, she grew up on the small island nation of Curacao, in the former Netherlands Antilles. She graduated valedictorian of the International School of Curacao’s class of 2014, where she was president of the National Honor Society, Editor in Chief of the Yearbook, Secretary-General of the Model UN program, and saxophone section leader of the school band. Before HSA, Zoé was a writing tutor in her high school’s writing lab. She received high scores on the SAT, 3 SAT IIs, and 7 IBs. Besides tutoring, Zoé spends her time on campus as a member of the Society for International Students’ outreach committee, the Women’s Initiative in Leadership and an assistant director of the Harvard National Model United Nations Conference.
