My scores on relevant exams were SAT 1540 (740 English, 800 Maths), TOEFL 113 and Romanian Baccalaureate: Maths 9.75/10, Romanian 9.90/10, Computer Science 10/10. I have experience in many different areas and I consider that some of my most meaningful accomplishments are the fact that I worked in the National Student Government of Romania for 3 years, I completed an intensive Computer Science and Mathematics track in high school, and I competed in many olympiads (Debate, Maths, Computer Science, History, Geography, English). Apart from this, I am also interested in arts and humanities. I have a lot of experience explaining new concepts and working with students (my age and younger) and I usually find it very easy to bond with people. I would also say that one of my greatest strengths is patience.

Hi I'm Ryan Rhee! I'm a Harvard student currently studying Sociology and Economics. I'm particularly passionate about teaching either of these subjects, but also love to teach writing, standardized test prep, and a number of AP subjects I have completed in High School (5's in biology, literature and composition, language and composition, research, US history, Calculus BC, and psychology). I'm also willing to help out any student with college counseling help and SAT prep if they need (I have raised SAT scores by 200+ in just 5 hours with a student)! I am a senior at Harvard College majoring in Economics. I am interested in labor economics, market, and political philosophy. My primary academic interests include economic research and most things humanities. I love reading literature, and I am also a writer. Kadyn A. is a freshman at Harvard College studying Applied Mathematics with an application in Economics and Computer Science. Originally from Forsyth County, GA, she graduated high school as president of both the Math Honor Society and Black Student Union, while competing in FBLA, HOSA, FCCLA, and playing two varsity sports. She scored a 1510 on the SAT and a 34 on the ACT, and hopes to continue blending her analytical skills with her passion for leadership and mentorship. I can tutor up the Calculus level in math and greatly enjoy teaching math. I also can look at college essays or other English/social studies essays and help critique and give feedback on these. Vanessa Zhang is a student from Vancouver, Canada concentrating in Applied Mathematics in Government. In high school, Vanessa was on both Team Canada Debate and Golf. She was the salutatorian of her class, an AP Scholar with Distinction, and earned First Class Honors with Distinction for all five years of high school. As a top-ranked debater, she won several national and international titles. She is a member of Team Canada Golf for the third consecutive year and plays for the Harvard Women’s Golf Team. Outside of academics and athletics, Vanessa enjoys writing, researching, and exploring pop culture. She has over a year of tutoring experience, specializing in teaching beginner and intermediate-level debate and SAT prep. Vanessa is also comfortable tutoring math, French, English, social studies, and microeconomics.

Lucia is a sophomore at Harvard College studying Government and Economics. She is originally from New York City, where she tutored middle school and high school students in standardized tests. Vicki Zou is a first-year at Harvard intending on studying statistics and economics. They attended the Bronx High School of Science where she was a varsity debater on the Policy Debate team, director of the Creative Writing Club, and conducted social science research. At Harvard, Vicki is a member of the Harvard Financial Analysts Club, publicity director of the Harvard Chinese Students Association, and involved in the badminton club. Mackenzie Boucher is a joint-concentrator in Economics and Philosophy with a secondary in Education. Mackenzie is from Dartmouth Massachusetts, but now resides in Boston year-round for work at a local hardware store and internship opportunities. Leading up to Harvard she was president of several well-respected clubs including the newspaper (The Dartmouth Spectrum) and the competitive debate & forensics team. Over the course of a calendar year she completed a research study concerning Fate Determinism and Academic Success advised by University of Bremen Professor, Klaus Boehkne. Mackenzie is a two-time AP Scholar Award with Distinction recipient and excelled in 11 APs in highschool across subjects. She self-directed her own college application process; navigating the process without guidance: including resume building, applying to college programs and aid, and essay writing. Mackenzie is currently a reporter for The Harvard Crimson and plans on joining an academic journal next spring, she is also a HSA tutor and college advisor.

Mellen is a Junior at Harvard studying Economics and Global Health Policy. Mellen is very passionate about higher education and advancing college access opportunities for underrepresented minorities. Being an International student from Kenya, Mellen was able to apply independently to highly competitive colleges in the USA; I’m 2021, Mellen gained admission into 5 Ivy League universities namely Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, Brown, Dartmouth as well and Northwestern. This made her to master the art of college application. As such, Mellen is the founder of Writing Mistress College Solutions where she uses her talent in writing and storytelling to help students tell their story to admission officers. At Harvard, Mellen is actively involved in research at the Radcliffe Institute in which she does research on climate change. She is also a mentor for the Emerging Leaders Program at Harvard, a public service fellowship recipient, a peer advising fellow for first-year students, and a team lead at Harvard Consulting among other roles she continues to thrive in. Aside from college applications, Mellen has extensive experience working tutoring Mathematics, SAT, Economics, and Swahili. Mellen intends to attend Harvard Business School for grad school.

As an international student, Walter is here to help with the most challenging aspects of the college application. Having completed many independent research projects, Walter can advise on how to build a unique profile for each applicant. In 9th grade, he was the only non-senior to be published in the Concord Review 2021 Winter Issue, a renowned high school journal. In 10th grade, he received an honorable mention in the New York Times Editorial Contest for an article about iconoclasm (0.5% award rate). Walter also has rich experience working as a Writing Center tutor in his high school, editing students’ papers and turning C’s into A’s. He scored a 5 in APUSH, 1540 on the SAT, and 115 on the TOEFL. Furthermore, he is able to teach calculus, economics, and college essay writing.

Martin Bigil-Rico is a Sophomore at Harvard studying Computer Science and Statistics. He attended a public magnet high school Southern California where he had leadership positions in 5 clubs and attended some of the nations prestigious summer STEM programs. At Harvard, Martin was the Co-Founder of SAT Daily--an app designed to help students access advanced SAT studying resources, an editor for the Philosophy review on campus, and a software developer for the Harvard Rocketry club. They have extensive experience in teaching the SAT, ACT, AP Exams, all academic subjects from English to Calculus, and college admissions coaching(including essay reading). Martin plans to take the entrepreneurial route after college and make a lasting impact on the world.

Ashley Vazquez Romo is a sophomore at Harvard studying Neurobiology and Sociology with a secondary in Economics. They attended Basic Academy of International Studies where she broke the district record for highest Grade Point Average (GPA). She was admitted to every college she applied to; including Yale, Princeton, the University of Pennsylvania, USC, and more. She is eager to support other students in their academic journey. Whilst in high school, she conducted research with the American Chemical Society and participated in community-oriented work. At Harvard, Ashley is the Social, Humanitarian, & Cultural Issues Committee chair for World Model United Nations and an instructor for the Harvard Academies. Hello! My name is Mariia, and I am a rising sophomore at Harvard College studying Economics with a secondary in Theatre, Dance, and Media. As an international student from Ukraine, I have personally experienced the application process to U.S.-based universities and understand its hidden hurdles. Despite its complexity, I am passionate about helping students enjoy this process as much as possible by tutoring, specifically SAT and IELTS, as well as essay writing and general college consulting. Hi! I’m Darren, a junior at the college pursuing a concentration in economics with a secondary in neuroscience and a language citation in French. I attended Lexington High School where I was class president and partook in endeavors that took me on a piano tour in Europe and a tenure as the faceoff specialist for the Varsity Lacrosse team.
